Nano Banana Prompts and Examples

Find Nano Banana prompt ideas for food, product scenes, and reference-image edits. Learn to separate preserved details from changes and explore attributed examples.

Explore prompts by their source family

The Nano Banana gallery brings together prompts, supplied previews, and attribution when available. Use the filtered-gallery button to find this model family, then open a detail page to read the full prompt and inspect its source. Model-family labels do not promise that every preview came from Nano Banana 2 or Nano Banana Pro.

Write a scene with a clear hierarchy

Start with the main subject, decide its position, and describe the environment after that. A food-photography exercise:

A small bowl of strawberry yogurt on a pale blue table, overhead food photograph, fresh strawberry slices arranged near the rim, soft window light, realistic texture, and a clean lower-left area. No packaging, writing, or cutlery.

Try changing only the composition to a close side view. Compare how the visible texture, background, and space for text change. This is a prompt-writing exercise rather than a tested performance claim.

For a product scene, replace the food with one clearly described object and simplify the surrounding props. The product photography guide explains why the actual product should be checked against an authorized reference.

Write an edit as two lists

When using reference images, separate what should stay from what should change:

Keep the bottle's silhouette, cap, and green color from the reference. Change the setting to a clean stone tabletop with soft daylight. Remove extra props and leave empty space on the right.

Use the image-to-image workflow to upload a reference or continue from an available generated image. Inspect all preserved details afterward. A request to keep an object does not guarantee exact preservation.

Choose the actual generation model

The gallery's use action brings prompt text into the workspace. Check the selected model and settings before submitting. See Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro for their current workspace options, then use the same brief for your own comparison.

Browse the source and license on each entry before reusing a prompt or preview. Generation requires JavaScript, sign-in, and sufficient credits; current rates appear before submission. Download important output during its 14-day online retention period.
